Wood Briquettes

Wood briquettes / eco briquettes / sawdust briquettes are made of hardwood chips and have high calorific specifications. This eco fuel produces a lot of heat. The wood briquettes have long burning life and are easy to store, very clean alternative to other fossil substitutes - peat briquettes coal, heating oil. The wood briquettes are packed in plastic packaging - bales of 10 kg.

Our wood briquettes have calorific value of approx. 20 MJ per kg or 5 KWh per kg. One 10 kg bale equals approx. 5 L of Heating Oil and is CO2 neutral fuel.

We offer two types of wood briquettes or heat logs:

1) Hardwood briquettes, rectangular shape with hole in the middle, weight of each log: 0.5 kg. They burn with nice and big flame and give out great energy and heat. The hole in the middle ensures an optimum combustion process that provides extra air needed for burning especialy if burnt in stoves with low ventilation or when the air input has been restricted on the stove ensuring you get great heat longer.	2) Hardwood briquettes, rectangular shape without the hole in the middle, weight of each log: 1.66 kg. They have exceptional burning and heat performance and burn very long providing you with consistent heat and lovely glow. The massive weight of each log and very low moisture level will ensure you get wonderful heat for hours with high calorific heat output. They break easily so they can fit in any size of stove or fire appliance and you can pre manage your fire without the need to burn the whole log.

The wood briquettes have low moisture content, whcih is below 10% and ash content less than 1%, whch makes them superior to the traditional wood sources.

Why use wood briquettes?

Very neat and handy to stack and store in smaller spaces, take considerably less space than normal firewood. Do not store in damp place! As the wood briquettes are packed in plastic foil they are very clean to handle around the house and leave no mess after all.

Each log has the same size and they can fit in any stove or appliance burning wood and break fairly easy to required size if needed.

Less than 1% ash and whatever left after burning can be used as a fertilizer for your gardening needs.

Our wood briquettes are an eco fuel - CO2 neutral, keeps your chimney cleaner than other fossil fuels like coal or peat briquettes, which brings you savings from chimney cleaning and stove repairs.

• High heat output, burning with steady spark free flame;

Wood briquettes are characterized with lower moisture content <10% (dryer) compare to normal firewood (30-50% moisture) and the heat produced from them is 2 to 4 times higher than normal firewood.
